Central Illinois Select Soccer Club (CIS) is proud to announce the
Fifth season of the CIS Soccer Academy.
Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:00 p.m. – 6:15p.m.
April 3—May 10 (Six weeks)
All boys and girls ages 4-8 years old.
Fees will be $25 for the 12 sessions if you register before the
April 3 session. Fees will be $35 for applications received at or
after the April 3 session.
Training will be designed to teach kids individual soccer skills,
team concepts, and a love for the game. Each player will spend
time as part of a small group with one of our professional
trainers each session. One half of each session will feature a
skill specific training session and the other will feature
challenging game setting designed to highlight their expanding
skill base.
CIS strongly believes in training in a 4v4 environment with an
emphasis on getting the maximum number of touches on the ball,
playing all positions, and presenting “game like” situations.
These are the skills quality players will use the rest of their
lives.
While CIS is a “travel soccer” club, there will be
no travel and no
weekends
involved in this academy program.
The Academy will serve to provide a higher level of exposure to
soccer for those kids who may be interested in playing competitive
soccer in the future. CIS wants this to be an inexpensive way for
parents and players to learn a little more about club soccer
without diving in and making the full commitment to a club team.
Training is offered at Nord Fields Soccer Park (Three miles west
of Morris Ave. on Six Points Road.)
More information on CIS programs and teams is available on our
website:
www.cis-soccer.org. Interested players should
complete a combined individual player profile and a
medical release/ liability waiver available online at
http://www.cis-soccer.org/ClubInfo/Forms.htm and send
them with payment to:
